You might come for the harmonies, the beatbox grooves, the “wait…that’s all voices?” moments. But you'll stay for the feeling!
Face is an internationally acclaimed, all-vocal rock band from Boulder, Colorado, and since 2001, we’ve been doing what we love most: bringing people together through music, laughter, and a shared moment in the room. We blend modern pop and rock with complex harmonies, brilliant beatbox rhythms, and a whole lot of heart.
The result? A sound that’s powerful, playful, and deeply human.
As FringeReview.co.uk put it: “Blending modern popular tunes with complex harmonies, brilliant beat-box rhythms and superb singing… Face takes their audience on a musical journey and it’s fantastic fun.” And honestly? That pretty much nails it!
We perform around 100 shows a year around the world, from intimate listening rooms to renowned concert halls, and no two shows are ever the same. Face has appeared on NBC’s hit series The Sing-Off, headlined at Edinburgh’s legendary Festival Fringe, performed at Red Rocks and Carnegie Hall, and shared stages with artists like Jon Bon Jovi, Barenaked Ladies, TobyMac, Culture Club & Boy George, and Manhattan Transfer.
But no matter how far we travel, the goal never changes: Make it feel personal, make it feel connected, make it feel like you belong there.
Critics and fans around the world have described Face as: “A true American heartland sound.” — Recorded A Cappella Review Board

Face is made up of Mark Megibow, Stephen Ross, Ryan Driver, Forest Kelly, and Anderson Daniel. We're five voices, five personalities, sharing a love of performance.
Onstage, that looks like effortless harmony, spontaneous humor, and moments that feel different every single night. Offstage, it looks like long drives, inside jokes, authentic brotherhood, and a deep respect for what live music can do when people really listen. We don’t just sing to an audience, we sing with them.
Mark Megibow is a multi-talented performer with more than 45 years of experience on stage as a singer, percussionist, and actor. Since 2001, he has served as the vocal drummer and tenor for Face Vocal Band.
A graduate of Northwestern University with classical percussion training, Mark has performed with a wide variety of ensembles, including marching bands, symphonic orchestras, Zimbabwean marimba groups, and plenty of loud, obnoxious rock bands. His dedication to musicianship has earned international recognition, including being named Beatboxer of the Year at the 2019 A Cappella Music Awards.
Forest Kelly has been the bass of Face Vocal Band since the group's inception in 2001 and is a lifelong singer and lover of music. He discovered his passion for a cappella in high school and has been performing in the genre ever since. As the lowest voice in the group, he enjoys showcasing both his deep register and his smooth lead vocals. Forest has produced, mixed, and mastered numerous studio projects for Face and has also written or co-written original songs for the band's repertoire.
In 2022, Forest had the distinction of singing his lowest note at the Lowest Point in Colorado, a performance featured on Colorado Public Radio. Outside of live performance, he works as a voice-over artist for numerous national and local commercials, including the iconic Fisher Price Fire Engine. His rich, unmistakable voice has become a signature element of countless projects.
Stephen Ross is a versatile musician and educator who joined Face Vocal Band in 2004 as a countertenor and has since become the group's music director and one of its primary arrangers. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from the University of Colorado Boulder. Stephen directed the choirs at Skyline High School in Longmont, Colorado, from 2003 through 2015 and currently leads the 200-plus member Coal Creek Community Chorus and Balfour Sings!, (a choir based in a senior living facility), both based in Louisville, Colorado.
In addition to his teaching and performance work, Stephen has adjudicated numerous choir festivals and directed honor choirs throughout Colorado, including the Colorado Middle School All State Cambiato Choir. He is grateful for the never-ending support of his amazing wife, three children, and dog.
Ryan Driver is a tenor in Face, and an accomplished musician whose talents span performance, arranging, recording, and production. An award-winning soloist and arranger for over twenty years, he played a large role in shaping the group’s sound. In 2009, his skills as a vocalist were showcased on NBC's The Sing Off, where he was featured as a standout performer. Driver has experience singing in a wide range of styles, including classical, barbershop, jazz, rock, and pop.
In addition to his vocal work, Ryan is an experienced audio engineer and producer who has contributed to numerous contemporary a cappella recordings, including all of Face's recent albums.
